Anurag Yadav, the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) candidate arrested for involvement in result irregularities, has confessed that the leaked question paper he received matched the actual exam questions.
In a confession letter exclusively obtained by a leading media house, 22-year-old Yadav, the nephew of an engineer working at Bihar's Danapur Town Council (Danapur Nagar Parishad), disclosed that his relative, Sikandar Prasad Yadavendu, informed him that all arrangements for the exam had been completed.
Yadav also said he was given the answers along with the leaked question paper of the NEET exam.
In the letter, the student claimed that when he sat for the exam and received the actual question paper, it matched the one provided by his uncle.
Allegations of question paper leaks and other irregularities in prestigious exams have surfaced in states like Bihar, sparking protests in several cities and prompting petitions to be filed in numerous high courts and the Supreme Court.
