Every monsoon season, many areas in Delhi face waterlogging problems. The heavy rains cause water to collect on the streets, making it difficult for people to travel and increasing the risk of diseases. Some of the worst-affected areas include:

Minto Bridge - This spot is infamous for severe waterlogging. Every year, the underpass here fills with water, causing traffic jams and sometimes even submerging vehicles.

I.T.O - The busy I.T.O. junction often gets flooded during heavy rains. This causes massive traffic disruptions as the water takes a long time to drain away.

South Delhi - Areas like Saket, Malviya Nagar, and Hauz Khas often experience waterlogging. The narrow streets and poor drainage systems are the main reasons for this issue.

North Delhi - Places such as Mukherjee Nagar, Burari, and parts of Civil Lines face similar problems. The waterlogged roads make commuting difficult for residents.

West Delhi - Localities like Rajouri Garden and Subhash Nagar also struggle with waterlogging. The stagnant water can sometimes enter homes, causing damage and inconvenience.

East Delhi - Areas like Laxmi Nagar and Preet Vihar see severe waterlogging. The main roads become almost impossible to navigate during heavy rains.

The government is trying to improve the drainage systems, but progress is slow. People in these areas often have to wade through knee-deep water, and the stagnant water can lead to health problems like dengue and malaria.
