Telugu actor Allu Arjun made his appearance before the Chikkadpally Police on Tuesday to record his statement regarding the tragic stampede that occurred at Sandhya Theatre on December 4, which resulted in the death of a woman and left her son severely injured.

Accompanied by his legal team, Allu Arjun was joined at the police station by his father, Allu Aravind, and father-in-law, Chandrasekhar Reddy. The actor’s questioning was carried out by Chikkadpally Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ramesh Kumar, along with Hyderabad's Central Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Akshansh Yadav.

L. Ramesh Kumar, the Assistant Commissioner of Police for the Chikkadpally division, oversees the Chikkadpally and Musheerabad Police Stations. In a statement on Sunday, ACP Kumar informed the media that the police had communicated with Allu Arjun’s manager, Santhosh, about the unfortunate incident. They told him that the stampede had led to the death of the woman and left her child critically injured. The police also instructed Allu Arjun and his crew to leave the theatre due to the escalating situation, but it was revealed that the actor did not comply with the directive to vacate the premises.

During a press conference, City Police Commissioner CV Anand presented a video created by the police, which compiled footage from news channels and cell phone clips. The video showed that Allu Arjun remained inside the theatre until midnight, even after being advised to leave the venue. Although Commissioner Anand refrained from commenting on the video, he suggested that the media could form their own conclusions from the footage.
