Manish Tiwary, who has been the head of Amazon in India, is leaving the company. Amazon confirmed his resignation but did not say where he will go next. According to an Amazon spokesperson, Tiwary has decided to explore a new opportunity outside the company.

Tiwary worked at Amazon India for eight and a half years, starting in 2016. Before joining Amazon, he worked at Unilever. During his time at Amazon, Tiwary played a key role in making Amazon.in a popular shopping site in India. He will stay with Amazon until October to help with the transition process.

His departure means there will be a change in leadership for Amazon’s operations in India. Amazon has not yet announced who will take over his role or where Tiwary will work next. India Today Tech has tried to get more information from Amazon India, but the company has not provided further details.
