Introduction of the New Feature
Microsoft has announced a new feature that makes it easier for iPhone users to share files with Windows devices. This new update will help users who have struggled with file-sharing problems due to compatibility issues between iPhones and non-Apple devices. The feature is currently available in the beta version of Microsoft’s Phone Link app.
What is Phone Link?
Phone Link is a Microsoft app that allows users to connect their iPhones or Android devices to their windows computers. With this app, users can view notifications, take calls, and now, with the new feature, share files easily between iPhones and Windows PCs.
Challenges with File Sharing
Previously, sharing files between iPhones and Windows devices was difficult because of the restrictions placed on iOS devices. But with this new update, Windows users will be able to select their iPhone as an option when sharing a file. On the iPhone, the Link to Windows app will show as a sharing extension, making it simple for users to send and receive files between their devices.

However, not all users can access this feature yet. The feature will eventually be available to millions of users with Windows 10 and Windows 11, according to the blog post.
