Apple is gearing up for an exciting year in 2024, and the iPhone 16 series is just one part of their big plans. One of the new products is the Mac Mini, which will be powered by the new M4 chip. This chip focuses on artificial intelligence (AI), making it more powerful and efficient.
According to reports, this Mac Mini will be the smallest one Apple has ever made. It's expected to be about the same size as an Apple TV streaming device, which is roughly 3.7 inches across. This new Mac Mini will also have its first major design change since 2010.
Despite being smaller, the new Mac Mini will still be a bit taller than the current model, which is 1.4 inches high. It will have a sleek aluminum shell and will be very compact, almost like an iPad Pro in a small box. The M4 chip will support AI features, and the new Mac Mini is expected to be available in October.
Right now, the Mac Mini costs $599, but it's not clear if the new version will be cheaper or if Apple will keep the price the same. Apple has more updates coming this year, including new iMacs, MacBook Pros, and MacBook Airs. They also plan to release updated Mac Pro and Mac Studio models by mid-2025.
In India, Apple products are known for their high prices, so it will be interesting to see if the new Mac Mini will be more affordable. The launch of the Mac Mini might happen alongside the iPhone 16 series and the new iOS 18. Recently, Apple also launched the MacBook Air M3 in India, priced at Rs 1,14,900.
