West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose assured on Monday that India’s border with Bangladesh is secure, despite the current issues in Bangladesh. He advised people not to pay attention to any false rumors about the situation.

To address misinformation, Bose has set up a special “watchdog panel” that people can contact anytime for accurate information. The panel’s purpose is to clear up any confusion or false information that might be spreading.

The governor emphasized that there is no need to panic. He reassured the public that the Indian government is taking strong actions to protect the border, and that West Bengal supports these efforts. Anyone spreading rumors or misleading information will face strict consequences.

In response to the situation, the Border Security Force (BSF) has issued a "high alert" across the entire 4,096-km India-Bangladesh border. This step is meant to ensure that the border remains secure and to prevent any unauthorized entry into India.

The governor and security forces are taking necessary steps to maintain safety and address any concerns people might have about the border security situation.
