Xiaomi has introduced its latest affordable smartphone, the Redmi 13 5G, starting at a price of Rs 13,999. This phone features a 6.79-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Corning Gorilla Glass rear panel. Following its predecessor, the Redmi 12 5G, launched just ten months ago in August 2023, Xiaomi now offers an upgraded version under Rs 15,000. Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chip, the Redmi 13 5G operates on Xiaomi's latest HyperOS.
Redmi 13 5G: Pricing and Availability
The Redmi 13 5G is an entry-level smartphone priced at Rs 13,999 for the standard model. It has been launched on Amazon, with sales beginning on July 12 and includes several discounts offers. Available in two variants, the standard model offers 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, while another variant includes 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The Redmi 13 5G is offered in three colors: Ocean Blue, Pearl Pink, and Midnight Black.
Xiaomi is also providing a Rs 1,000 discount through card offers, reducing the effective price to Rs 12,999.
Similar to its predecessor, the Redmi 13 5G features an attractive glass cover. It incorporates a dual-camera setup complemented by a newly integrated ring light in the top left corner of the rear panel, enhancing its distinctive design.
The Redmi 13 5G boasts a large 6.79-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole notch for an improved visual experience. It includes Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 AE chip, the same as the Redmi 12 5G.
