Starting on October 1, 2024, HDFC Bank is making changes to its loyalty program for certain credit cards, specifically the Infinia and Infinia Metal Cards. These changes will affect how you can use your reward points for products and vouchers.
For Apple products, you will now be able to redeem your reward points for only one Apple product every three months. The three-month periods are divided as follows: April to June, July to September, October to December, and January to March. This means you will have to wait until the next quarter to redeem for another Apple product.
Additionally, for Tanishq vouchers, there is now a limit of 50,000 reward points that you can use every three months. This limit also follows the same quarterly schedule mentioned earlier.
If you are interested in getting these credit cards, there is a joining or renewal fee of Rs. 12,500, plus applicable taxes. When you pay this fee and activate your card, you will receive 12,500 reward points as a welcome benefit.
Lastly, if you spend Rs. 10 lakhs or more in the previous 12 months, HDFC Bank will waive the renewal fee for the next year.
These changes mean you will have limits on how you can use your reward points for certain products and vouchers, along with fees that you need to consider.
